13oz Skein Dyed Persimmon x Aizome Selvedge Jeans - Regular Straight Fit

The Graph Zero Persimmon x Aizome 13oz Nep Selvedge Denim is one of the most technically and uniquely layered fabrics we've carried. The warp is dyed with kakishibu, a persimmon tannin technique rooted in Japanese dye tradition going back over a thousand years, while the weft uses aizome natural indigo, another ancient method requiring the precision of skilled artisans to achieve the depth and visual complexity the two techniques produce together. The base fabric is a 13oz nep selvedge woven on a vintage power loom with irregular indigo nep yarns that create an ultra-slubby, almost handwoven surface texture that catches the light in a way conventional denim simply cannot. The factory rinse removes shrinkage and softens the hand without undercutting the raw character of the cloth. Custom engraved buttons and hardware, printed herringbone pocket bags, hidden coin pocket selvedge, hidden back pocket rivets, a vegetable-tanned leather patch, and an orange selvedge ID finish a jean that treats every detail as an opportunity.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a size 34 in this straight fit. Normally, anything other than the heritage fit is a size 34 for him from Graph Zero. These honestly fit to perfetion with the 33.5" waist, so we would recommend you stick with what you grab from other Japanese brands. If you're unsure of that sizing, always size up once. But mostly, just compare the size chart to your favorite pair for a more true fit. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs, with a 33-34" waist.
