200-HCSV - 8oz "Selvedge Chambray" Denim - Wide Straight
Every time we think Oni has shown us everything, they come back with a fabric that stops us in our tracks. Instead of their signature heavy, low-tension denim, Oishi-san has introduced an 8oz selvedge chambray - a lightweight, densely woven plain weave that feels completely new in pant form. We’ve carried plenty of chambray shirts over the years, but never a chambray pant until ONI, and being among the few shops in the world to offer them is a thrill. Oni chose the 200 Wide Straight fit for this release, giving the fabric a roomy, relaxed silhouette that’s breathable and easy for summer wear. All the trademark Oni details are here, from rugged construction to the bright canvas patch that adds a shot of contrast. And, as always, these are selvedge. The warp is indigo-dyed, meaning they’ll age with you!

Get that right, and you should be a-ok on the rest of the fit. He admittedly had extra room in the waist, but nothing he can't handle in a roomier fit. Tommy is 5'10," 161lbs, with a 33-34" waist.
